INSTRUCTION TO STUDENTS:

ALL OF THE STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO DO AN INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT AS FOLLOW:

1. Make a research on the following topic.

• Virtual Reality In Scientific Visualizations
• Virtual Reality In Education & Training
• Virtual Reality In Military
• Virtual Reality In Entertainment
• Virtual Reality in Architectural Walkthrough



Structure Of Assignment :

- Introduction Of Virtual Reality
- The 5 following topic research (Can include image/figure)
- Summary of your opinion on each topic listed.
- All of you should present.
-Hard copy (With front page and binded).
-Soft copy(Power Point file).
-List down sources you get the information from at the end of your research.

Assignment Instructions:

Written Research must not be less than 5 pages. Standard Font Times New Roman, Font size 12 and single spacing. Must be presentable and clean. Submission will be on Monday 11th October 2010

Final Project

Final Project brief:

As I mentioned in the class you need to search about Second Life.

- It is like a research paper.

-You need to have following parts:

1. Introduction( About SL history, Background study and so on)
2. How to buy a land or rent land in SL. ( Different ranges of prices in SL, how you can find a suitable land, who you should pay the money to and how).
3. How to build in SL. ( Simple building, Is there any place in SL where you can build things for free?)
4. How is the programming language of SL? How you can control the environment you built.

- The paper should be between 30 to 50 pages.

- You need to have a part for your references.

As we have 4 weeks, each week would be a presentation for one part.

Next week, 26th of April 2010, is due time for introduction.

Hard copy and soft copy.

soft copy should be in power point format, so you can present.

the hard copy should be binded.

Hi every body

This is the first post I want to write here in this blog.

I will use this method because I find it very convenient to use for all of you.
We can stay in touch using this blog when we are not in a same place.
We can share our opinions and experiences related to the subject.
We can share files.
You can ask your questions here about different things such as technical parts of class or submission dates or other things you may be concerned about.

This is my second semester here in KLMU and having one semester experience will help me a lot. For sure I need your help to make this class as great as possible so everybody can enjoy coming to class and learning something new.
